Morton Kimmel is the President of Kimmel, Carter, Roman & Peltz, P.A., a Delaware personal injury and workers compensation law firm. His practice is focused primarily on personal injury, workers’ compensation, products liability, insurance, and construction law.

With more than 40 years of experience, Mr. Kimmel has a successful track record of obtaining positive awards for clients throughout the State of Delaware. Mr. Kimmel has tried more than 100 cases and argued before the Delaware Supreme Court and other Courts of Appeals on numerous occasions. He has the skill and resources needed to successfully negotiate with large insurance companies on your behalf. He zealously seeks to achieve the best possible outcome in your case, and will fight for the compensation or settlement you deserve based on your injuries. Mr. Kimmel is also an arbitrator and a certified mediator for the Delaware Superior Court. In this capacity, he has experience resolving hundreds of disputes.

Mr. Kimmel received his B.A. from Temple University and his J.D. from George Washington University National Law Center. He is admitted to practice law in Delaware, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Kimmel is also a member of the American Judicature Society, American Association for Justice, Defense Research Institute, the Federation of Insurance Counsel, and Phi Delta Phi. Additionally, Mr. Kimmel serves as Legal Counsel to the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware and is a Member of the Board of Directors of Cancer Care Connection. He is also Chairman of the Delaware High School Blue-Gold Basketball Board of Trustees and President and Trustee of the Kimmel-Spiller Charitable Foundation.
